The Luxe Model - Aesthetic Trend: kitchens with a central island take on a new dimension

The new design norms for open kitchens

The search for beauty
Luxe Model - Aesthetic Trend is all about the search for beauty, the joy of surrounding oneself with aesthetically pleasing objects. These may be artworks, or they may be functional everyday objects. Aesthetics is about refusing to compromise, carefully selecting your furniture for every room in the house, seeking elegance and refinement from the cellar to the attic. The Luxe Model - Aesthetic Trend kitchen ticks all these boxes. First of all, it has an undeniably aesthetic character. Its colour, something rarely exploited in kitchens, offers surprising depth and intensity. Lastly, the layout of this kitchen breaks from the norm, taking an approach which is sure to please fans of contemporary architecture.

This Trend offers a modern kitchen with a central island that is guaranteed to make an impression. Its original layout perfectly complements the surrounding design in this modern apartment. This chocolate-coloured open kitchen provides ample storage space thanks to all the units occupying the back wall from floor to ceiling. The central island houses the cooking area and the sink, cleverly[2]  hidden behind a decorative bronze partition. In front of the island, a high dining area can accommodate a table and several bar stools. All Luxe Model - Aesthetic Trend units are clad in Fenix luxe fronts which offer a very modern matt finish. Behind the island, the household appliances are recessed for maximum concealment. The worktop has the same look as the fronts, harmonising the overall fit-out. The highly equipped kitchen features innovative appliances which are fully adapted to this unconventional space. These include, for example, the hob with integrated hood. This type of equipment frees up the space above the cooking area, reinforcing the feeling of lightness.

The central block as a focal point
The central island of the
Luxe Model - Aesthetic Trend is the only part of this kitchen that really stands apart. Placed alone in the centre, it is sure to catch the eye. It appears simple in its design, yet accommodates numerous items of equipment with a variety of functions. On one side, a hob with an integrated hood for the cooking area, and on the other, a sink and dishwasher for the washing area. While the induction hob is visible, the sink unit and tap are concealed behind a low partition to ensure a streamlined look. This separation between the washing area and dining area is not just a practical consideration. With its bronze finish, it also acts as a spotlight, beaming brilliance and light onto the matt units around it. On the other side, a high table and two stools provide a dining area. Finally, in its lower section the island consists of a built-in dishwasher and high drawers able to hold every kind of cooking utensil.

A radical approach to modernity

The Luxe Model - Aesthetic Trend embraces the moment by offering a minimalist but luxurious approach to the well-equipped kitchen. Departing from standard conventions (such as white or wooden kitchens), it offers a unique colour rarely chosen for this type of room. The vast wall of tall units is cleverly integrated into the background, so that nothing protrudes and everything seems to have been studied to the nearest millimetre. This effect is largely possible thanks to the handleless fronts and push-button system. Simply press the door to open or close it. The smoked-glass unit, for its part, mirrors the large windows across from it. It provides the perfect dedicated space for all your crockery. Finally, the decor is also minimalist, being limited to a few objects placed on the island. A very modern XXL suspension fitting is nonetheless chosen, which works perfectly in this kind of design.
