Like a starry sky
The stars can only be seen in the deep of the night. The Melia Model - Celestial Trend is inspired by this moment, when the sky turns darkest black, yet is also studded with points of light. Despite its total black look, this kitchen appears to stand out from the dark blue wall, all the better to shine. This impression comes from its nuanced shades of black: matt on the base units, but with plenty of shine too, thanks to the presence of smoked glass in the upper windows. It blends perfectly into the living room, even featuring a made-to-measure hybrid sideboard which connects the two areas.
The Melia Model - Celestial Trend model is a fitted kitchen with a central island and an attractive modern look. Its L-shaped layout with central island allows smooth and easy movement between the different sections. This open kitchen in intense black has lots of storage space for easier organisation. The central island is entirely dedicated to meal preparation, but also houses a bar area with two stools and a light cement laminated worktop . Behind the island, the more technical areas for washing and cooking enjoy a large linear fit-out. The doors of the Melia Model - Celestial Trend feature matt black melamine fronts which are both modern and elegant. Accompanied by a worktop and wall panel in black stone decor, these units make one thing clear: black has never been so chic. To maintain overall coherence, the household appliances are grouped together and flush-fit for maximum concealment. Chosen in black and stainless steel, they fit perfectly into this kitchen.
Shades of black
Black is an attractive colour, despite its dark side. And it has become increasingly popular in decoration. Initially combined with more conventional colours such as white or wood, it is now ready to stand on its own two feet. Should you take the bold decision to opt for a black kitchen, the key is to create a style dramatic enough to avoid an overall lack of clarity. Playing with different textures (stone, glass, melamine) and shades (matt and gloss), the Melia Model - Celestial Trend offers a unique modern space in which black proves all its design potential as a colour.
The central island: the centre of everything
The central island of this kitchen is remarkable in many ways. Its one-piece appearance is ideal for this open space, creating a smooth transition with the sideboard for fluid integration into the dining room. On the kitchen side, it presents a seamless line thanks to the handle-free doors, which provide a precise echo of the linear fit-out along the wall. The distribution of areas on the island is perfectly clear: the structured light cement worktop helps to organise the surface and mark out the bar area. Visible from the living room, the island offers an open storage space, lightening the unit and enabling decoration with a few personal objects.
Everyday comfort
As well as being stylish, the Melia Model - Celestial Trend kitchen boasts a number of highly functional units and elements. It also features an original format, only available from Mobalpa: the Alto unit. It offers the best unit height on the kitchen market, providing up to 20% additional storage. Featuring a slimmer, more discreet base and worktop, this unit has a more attractive line that is perfect for an open kitchen. Lastly, the total height of the worktop (between 91 and 96 cm) ensures unrivalled user comfort. On the kitchen side, the block of tall units houses appliances and internal drawers for optimal organisation.
