"I kept the original kitchen"

When renovating his new apartment, the customer wanted to keep the wooden Mobalpa kitchen. The quality of the materials and finishes had stood the test of time. He wanted to open up the space onto the living room.

The customer is very careful about decoration and sustainability. So, he didn’t hesitate in keeping this incredibly timeless light wood kitchen. It is in perfect harmony with the old oak parquet flooring. The retro and refined style of the fronts is highlighted by stainless steel handles and the black mosaic floor contrasts with the off-white wall panel.

Decoration tip: a brushed metal plinth for a very contemporary vintage look

No central island in this kitchen that has stood the test of time. The customer chose to create a lasting design, like this vintage table with apple green chairs that separates the two spaces. It is perfect for lively dinners with friends or for inviting friends over for tea. This kitchen opens onto the living room and has been integrated into the warm atmosphere of the living room. This decoration gives pride of place to souvenirs from the customer’s travels. He is a big fan of Brazil and bossa nova.

Elegant and functional storage

A built-in fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Discrete wall units with lift-up doors. Cupboards and drawers under the worktop. This kitchen remains perfectly equipped for everyday use, with practical storage spaces for storing food, glasses, dishes and pans. The excellent storage capacity avoids cluttering the living room with units. The customer’s vintage mottled buffet table can therefore proudly take pride of place in the living room.

I kept the original kitchen

When the customer moved into his apartment, he renovated everything. Except for the vintage kitchen in solid wood. A Mobalpa kitchen of which he appreciated the quality and the finishing of each piece of furniture. If he wanted to break down the partition to open the kitchen, it was to give more space to the living room and the retro table that serves as a separation. The customer appreciates wood for kitchens, a material that blends perfectly with his vintage decor and his old style oak flooring. The design is also a must for the retro furniture that he likes to find in decorating stores or on his i phone.

Aesthetic and timeless wood

A man of taste, the customer is passionate about photography, interior design and vintage furniture. If he is very attentive to decoration, and to aesthetics in general, he is also sensitive to the notion of durability. After a visit to the store, he finally decided to keep this kitchen, seduced by the materials and the high-end solid wood furniture. With their stainless steel handles, the cabinets offer the retro yet contemporary style he likes. A retro design found on the floor, with a black mosaic tile. But also for the white credenza with a very contemporary style. Although this kitchen model is no longer available in stores, it is one more argument that seduced the customer, a lover of unique vintage and retro furniture, such as this 50s-style sideboard.

Elegant and functional storage

The layout of this vintage kitchen is perfectly suited to his daily life. Its tall cabinets with lift-up doors, added to the numerous cupboards and drawers under the worktop, offer multiple storage spaces. Very practical for stocking up on food when you're into home delivery. Timeless vintage furniture that also leaves room in the retro wooden sideboard to store bossa nova records. Another passion of the customer who lived in Brazil. And an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the decoration of his home.

A vintage kitchen open to the living room

Another important piece of furniture in this kitchen: the table, next to the buffet, for eating and entertaining friends. An alternative to the central island, a must-have piece of furniture in contemporary kitchens. In walnut wood, this vintage table materializes the separation between the kitchen and the living room. In the living room, the retro decoration is rich with memories of travels in Africa, India and Brazil. A style mixing retro and modern, with a warm decoration reinforced by the wood of the old floor.

Furniture and decoration, what is your style?

Among the latest trends in kitchens, there are those you can see in your Mobalpa store. The kitchens that are running out of stock the fastest are the Epure, Ressource and Signature models. Visit the store or your i phone to see them. Each cabinet front is available in several colors, and the layout can be made to measure. Ask about delivery times depending on the model and stock.
